Mornings begin with beautiful pastel colors, bringing a calmness and clear energy to start your day. Relax on the lanai with your morning coffee, or enjoy the mesmerizing, meditative views.

Volcanoes National Park for hiking, walking, and viewing the remarkable active site: Mauna Kea at 13,800' for star gazing, sunset views; Waimea Farmers Market and Parker Ranch; Historic Hawaiian sites; diverse music scene, and so much more. Did you know that 11 of the 13 world's microclimates exist on this island? 

The best beaches are nearby: Hapuna, Mauna Kea, Kua Bay, Beach 69, and A-Bay. Ocean swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving, manta ray snorkeling, whale watching, sunset sailing tours, outrigger canoeing, paddleboarding, surfing, boogie boards, sport fishing, beach walks, relaxing under an umbrella, or sunset cocktails at Lava Lava.

There are eight excellent golf courses nearby, including the Waikaloa Village Association community course open to guests (plus swimming). Free tennis and pickleball courts, too. Nearby are two excellent tennis and pickleball clubs.
